About this site
Controller Tester is a free, browser-based tool for checking a game controller. Plug it in, press the buttons, and see what your computer actually receives — no download, no install, nothing to sign up for.
Why it exists
Most sites that call themselves a controller tester bury the actual tool under ad slots, autoplay video, and pages of filler text you have to scroll past just to press a button. This site does one thing: it reads your gamepad and shows you the result, as plainly as possible.
What happens to your data
Nothing is uploaded. The tool reads your controller through your browser's built-in Gamepad API and draws the result on screen using JavaScript that runs on your own device. Button presses, stick positions, trigger values, the drift check — none of it ever leaves your browser or touches a server. There is no account, no tracking of what your controller does, and nothing to store because nothing is sent anywhere in the first place.
Who runs it
Controller Tester is an independent, one-person project. It is not affiliated with Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, or any controller manufacturer.
