What the tool itself does with your data

Controller Tester reads your gamepad through your browser's built-in Gamepad API and shows the result on screen using JavaScript that runs entirely on your own device. Button presses, stick positions, trigger values, and the stick drift check are calculated in your browser and stay there. None of it is sent to a server, logged, or stored anywhere. There is no account and no tracking of what your controller does — because the measurements never leave your machine, there is nothing for us to receive or keep.

Advertising and cookies

This site plans to show ads through Google AdSense. When active, Google and its advertising partners may place cookies in your browser to show ads based on your interests, and to limit how many times you see the same ad. These cookies are separate from the tool above: they are set by the advertising system, not by anything the controller-testing code does.
